Here's when Vijay Sethupathi-Ponram's DSP will hit the screens

DSP, which is billed as a mass entertainer, is certified U/A

We had earlier reported that Vijay Sethupathi's upcoming film with director Ponram is titled DSP. Now, it has been confirmed that the film will release on December 2.

DSP is currently in the news for marking the return of singer Udit Narayan to Tamil cinema. The recently released single, Nalla Irumaa, is a fun-filled wedding song that features the voices of Udit, Senthil Ganesh, and Maalavika Sundar. 

Meanwhile, another update from the team is that DSP, which is billed as a mass entertainer, is certified U/A.

The film features Vijay Sethupathi as a cop named M Vascodagama, and stars former Miss India World Anukreety Vas, Shivani Narayanan, Cooku with Comali-fame Pugazh, Ilavarasu, Gnanasammandhan, Deepa, and Singampuli.

With cinematography by Venkatesh S and Dinesh Krishnan B, DSP will be edited by Vivek Harshan and bankrolled by Kaarthekeyen Santhanam.

Vijay Sethupathi, who was last seen in the Malayalam film 19(1)(a), has a handful of projects lined up including Michael, Merry Christmas, Viduthalai, Mumbaikar, and Jawan.
