While filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj and actor Vijay's upcoming film, tentatively titled Thalapathy 67 is currently under pre-production, there have been several speculations about several actors including Vishal and Nivin Pauly will be part of the cast. Though the makers have not confirmed it yet, the latest buzz is doing rounds that Kamal Haasan is joining the cast.

It may be noted that Lokesh previously directed Kamal in Vikram and by establishing a Kaithi-connect, he formed the Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU). Following the massive success, the fans have begun asking if upcoming projects will also fall under the LCU. If the reports are true, Thalapathy 67 will mark the first time collaboration between Kamal Haasan and Vijay.

However, an official announcement is awaited. Reports also suggest that Thalapathy 67 will go on floors in December. Meanwhile, the speculated cast includes Trisha, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mysskin, Sanjay Dutt, and Mathew Thomas.
