Love Today, the recently released film directed by Pradeep Ranganathan and also starring him in the lead role is being received well by the audiences. While actor-director has been inundated with appreciation, he now has another big moment to cherish forever. He was appreciated by Rajinikanth.

Pradeep met with the superstar recently and shared a couple of photos from the visit on his social media handle. Rajinikanth can be seen felicitating Pradeep with a shawl. The actor-director wrote, "What more can I ask for? It was like to be near the sun. So warm, the tight hug, those eyes, the laugh, the style and the love. What a personality. SUPERSTAR Rajinikanth saw Love Today and wished me. I will never forget the words you said sir." (sic)

Love Today, also starring Ivana, Sathyaraj, and Radhika Sarathkumar, tells a twisted tale of love where a young couple is pushed to exchange their phones, which subsequently leads to unravelling secrets and frenzies.

Produced by AGS Entertainment, the film has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Meanwhile, Pradeep confirmed that he narrated a script to Vijay. However, he did not disclose futher details about the same. There are also rumours that he may direct Rajinikanth. But no official confirmation has been made yet.
