Karthi's Sardar gets OTT release date

Both the Tamil and Telugu versions of the film will be released simultaneously on the streaming platform

After grossing over Rs 100 crores at the box office, Karthi-starrer Sardar is now gearing up for its OTT release. The film is set to come out on Aha on November 18. Both the Tamil and Telugu versions of the film will be released simultaneously on the streaming platform.

In a statement, announcing the OTT release of Sardar, Karthi said,Being part of an enigmatic story was the biggest lucrative reason for me to be part of Sardar. I knew we were making something special and huge which was elevated with the audience's warm and tremendous reception. I am excited that now a whole new base of audiences will view the film in Tamil and Telugu on aha."

Directed by PS Mithran, Sardar is an action-packed spy-thriller that has Karthi in a dual role, as a publicity-hungry cop and a spy in exile. Laila, Raashi Khanna, Rajisha Vijayan, and Chunky Panday essay other major roles in the film. Hitting screens on October 21, the film opened to largely positive response and was declared a blockbuster. Subsequently, the makers announced a sequel for the film. PS Mithran will be directing it as well.
