The music is scored by AR Rahman, with cinematography by Ravi Varman. Both parts of Ponniyin Selvan are produced by Madras Talkies and Lyca Productions and like the first film, the sequel will also release in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
