Even as Ranjithame, the first single from the Vijay-starrer Varisu, is not just making all the right noises, but also breaking records, there are speculations about a blockbuster reunion for the second single.

If the rumour mills are to be believed, the second single of Varisu will be sung by Anirudh Ravichander. After singing for Vijay in films like Kaththi, Master, and Beast, which had Anirudh double up as the composer too, this will be the first time he will be singing for a Vijay film that doesn't have music by him.

Directed by Vamshi Paidipally, Varisu has S Thaman composing the music. This is the maiden collaboration of Vijay and Thaman.

Written by Vamshi, Hari and Ashishor Solomon, Varisu is backed by Dil Raju and Shirish under the Sri Venkateswara Creations banner. Varisu stars Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead and will have an ensemble star cast, including Prabhu, Sarath Kumar, Prakash Raj, Jayasudha, Srikanth, Shaam, Yogi Babu, Sangeetha and Samyuktha.

With Karthick Palani as cinematographer, KL Praveen as the editor, Sri Harshith Reddy and Sri Hanshitha serve as the co-producers of the film, which will release in Telugu as Varasudu.
