Meyaadha Maan star Vivek Prasanna joins cast of Manik

Actor Vivek Prasanna has reportedly joined the cast of Aishwarya Rajesh’s upcoming film Manik. He is known for playing supporting characters in films like Meyaadha Maan, Soorarai Pottru, and Sethupathi

He announced the news through a Twitter post where he expressed his excitement about joining the film’s crew. His caption for the tweet reads, “Happy to be a part of Manik, working in this film will be an incredible new experience. More updates soon.”

Samrat Chakraborty, known for writing dialogues and screenplays for films like Ludo, Jagga Jasoos, and Chhatrasal, will be directing the film. According to reports, the film will be a Tamil-Hindi bilingual. While Vada Chennai fame Aishwarya Rajesh plays the lead in the film, the cast of the film also includes Samyuktha Shanmuganathan, Vivek Prasanna, Sai Janani, and Svar Kamble in supporting roles.

The makers of the film have planned to shoot the first schedule of the film in Nainital. Endemol Shine India along with Nutmeg productions are reportedly producing the film. Talking about the film in an interview, Endemol’s CEO Rishi Negi said, “The psychological thriller genre is currently hot in India and we are seeing a huge audience base for this kind of cinema that engages the viewer from start to finish. We are delighted to bring Manik to the audience with its gripping plot brought to life by the stellar star cast under the fantastic direction of the very talented Samrat. Can’t wait for the world to see this film.”
