'It's because of your prayers that we escaped from a major mishap', says Rambha

The actor thanked her fans and well-wishers for keeping her family in their prayers following a car crash

We earlier reported that actor Rambha met with a car accident in Canada. On Tuesday, she shared photos of the crashed car and her daughter being treated at the hospital on Instagram.

In the caption, she requested her fans and well-wishers to pray for them and following that all of them wished her and her children a speedy recovery. A day later, Rambha went on Instagram live to extend gratitude for all the love that came her way. She said, "To all my fans, friends and family members, whoever they are from all over the world -- whoever prayed for our speedy recovery and for our safety, I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. "Thank you so much. My kids and I are safe now. I am overwhelmed with this support and love I am getting from you."

Rambha also confirmed that her daughter Sasha has been discharged from the hospital. "I am very fortunate to receive so much love. It is all because of your prayers that we escaped from a major mishap," she added. She earlier revealed that her vehicle was hit by another car, at a junction while she was returning home after picking up her children from school. She also added all of them including her Nanny are safe. However, they have sustained minor injuries.

In a career spanning almost two decades, the actor has done more than 100 films in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi, in addition to a few Bengali, Bhojpuri and English films. Some of her popular Tamil films include Ullathai Allitha, Arunachalam, Ninaithen Vandhai, Kaathala Kaathala, Three roses and more. In 2010, she married Indrakumar Pathmanathan and moved to Toronto, Canada. The couple has two daughters and one son.
