Vikram Prabhu's next titled Rathamum Sadhaiyum

The film is helmed by debutant Harendhar Balachandar

Vikram Prabhu is teaming up with debutant director Harendhar Balachandar for a new film titled Rathamum Sadhaiyum. Its first look got released by director Vignesh Shivan through his Twitter handle.

From the title and poster, Rathamum Sadhaiyum looks like an action-heavy film. It has also been mentioned in the poster that the film is based on real-life incidents. Karrthik Adwait, PS Reddy, and Anu Chowdhary are jointly producing the film. Interestingly, Karrthik has directed Vikram Prabhu in Paayum Oli Nee Yenakku, which is yet to be released.

Pre-production work for Rathamum Sadhaiyum has commenced and the makers are planning to start shooting next month. The official announcement regarding the other actors and technicians will be made soon.

Vikram Prabhu, who was last seen in Taanakkaaran, has a couple of other projects coming up. He is teaming up with newcomer director Karthi for a thriller titled Tiger. It is scripted by Muthaiah, who directed Vikram Prabhu in Pulikuthi Pandi.

The Kumki actor also has another film lined up with a debutant filmmaker. Titled Pagaye Kathiru, the film is helmed by Manivel. Smruthi Venkat, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Vidya Pradeep, Sai Kumar and Siva Shara also star in the film, which is billed as an action-thriller.

Vikram Prabhu is also part of the upcoming Mani Ratnam directorial  Ponniyin Selvan.
