Karthi's Kaithi set to release in Russia in 121 cities at 297 theatres

On May 19, 4Seasons Creations released thank you note addressed to Karthi. The film Kaithi, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj is all set to release on screens in Russia as Узник. The title of the film translates to 'Prisoner'. Along with the note, the presenters also shared a video featuring Karthi.

In the video, Karthi introduces himself to the audience in Russia. He speaks at length about his character, the experience of portraying the character of Dilli in the film, and the stunning action scenes that he got to work on. Karthi also sought support for the film's release in Russia, while also thanking the presenters for taking it to the Serbian country.

 

The film is releasing in 121 cities in Russia, at 297 theatres. Kaithi was released in India on October 25, 2018, and was appreciated critically. The film also performed well at the box office and is reported to have collected Rs 100 crore at the box office. Kaithi also stars Naren and Arjun Das in pivotal roles.
