Thiruchitrambalam: First single Thaai Kelavi, from Dhanush-starrer to be out on this date

The film is set to hit the screens on August 18

Thaai Kelavi, the first single from Dhanush's Thiruchitrambalam, is set to release on June 24.

Kickstarting the promotions of the film, which is due to be released on August 18, the team made the announcement by releasing a short video teaser featuring music composer Anirudh Ravichander and choreographer Sathish, who are part of the crew. The duo revealed that Dhanush will be the lyricist of Thaai Kelavi. 

"#Thiruchitrambalam First single from June 24 .. A #DNA single after 7 years !! Yes , It is special," tweeted Dhanush.

Thiruchitrambalam marks the fourth collaboration of director Mithran Jawahar and Dhanush after Yaaradi Nee Mohini, Kutty and Uthamaputhiran.

Bankrolled by Sun Pictures, the film stars Nithya Menen, Priya Bhavani Shankar and Raashii Khanna as the female leads while Prakash Raj and Bharathi Raja will be seen in prominent roles.

Thiruchitrambalam marks Dhanush's first theatre release after Karnan, with his three other films, Jagame Thandhiram, Atrangi Re and Maaran opting for straight-to-streaming releases.
