The first look poster of Rudhran, the upcoming Tamil film starring choreographer-filmmaker Raghava Lawrence in the lead role, is set to release on Thursday, the makers announced on social media.

Rudhran is directed by filmmaker Kathirsean, with composer-turned-actor GV Prakash Kumar scoring the music for the film. The details on the rest of the cast and crew details is yet to be revealed. However, it was earlier reported that the film will feature Priya Bhavani Shankar as the female lead. Actor-politician Sarath Kumar will also share the screen space with Raghava Lawrence, marking his reunion after Muni 2: Kanchana.

It will also feature a remastered version of  'Paadatha Pattellam' sung by PB Sreenivas and S Janaki in the 1962 film Veera Thirumagan. The song has lyrics by the legendary writer Kannadasan. The upcoming film is presented by Kathiresan under Five Star Creations LLP banner.

Meanwhile, it was recently announced that Raghava Lawrence will also be part of the sequel of blockbuster Tamil film Chandramukhi, along with Vadivelu under PC Vasu's directorial.
