First schedule of Vijay Antony's Valli Mayil wrapped up

The film, the shooting of which began in Dindugal in May this year, is to be shot in various places across the state including Kodaikanal, Theni, Karaikudi and Palani.

Actor-music director Vijay Antony has announced that the first schedule of shooting of Valli Mayil directed by Suseenthiran has been wrapped up.

Announcing the news, Vijay Antony shared a group photo with the actors and the crew members and captioned it saying, "Valli Mayil first schedule inithey mudinthathu" (The first schedule of Valli Mayil ended on a sweet note). He was seen in a rural costume in the picture.

The film, the shooting of which began in Dindugal in May this year, is to be shot in various places across the state including Kodaikanal, Theni, Karaikudi and Palani.

Apart from Vijay Antony, the film also has Director Bharathiraja, Actors Sathyaraj, Faria Abdullah, Redin Kingsly, GP Muthu and Aranthangi Nisha in prominent roles. 

Touted to be a rural entertainer, the film is set to be released in five languages. Bankrolled by Nallusamy Pictures, Valli Mayil has music by D Imman and is edited by Llewellyn Anthony Gonsalves. 

Vijay Antony, who was last seen in Kodiyil Oruvan, has a host of upcoming films in various stages of production including Thamezharasan, Agni Siragugal, Khaki, Pichaikkaran 2, Kolai and Ratham.
