Dulquer Salmaan opens up about his desire to work with his dad Mammootty

Ahead of the release of Sita Ramam, while addressing the press, Dulquer Salmaan opened up about his desire to work with his father-actor Mammootty.

When asked about any plans for the father-son duo collaboration, Dulquer said, “I have already asked him (Mammootty) several times if we both can work together and if I will ever get a chance. I wish to do a film with him. I am ready to work with him in any language. But he has not said yes so far.”

Further, the actor added that he has committed to two Tamil films.  Meanwhile, Sita Ramam, which was simultaneously made in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam, is slated for release on August 5.

Directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, the film, also starring Mrunal Thakur and Rashmika Mandana is backed by Aswini Dutt under the Swapna Cinema banner and presented by Vyjayanthi Movies. The film is a period romantic drama set in the periods between the 60s and 80s. The technical crew consists of cinematography by PS Vinod and Vishal Chandrashekhar on the music. Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao is the editor.
