The 68th National Awards for films that were submitted to the board in 2020 were announced on Friday. The awards are announced by the Directorate of Film Festivals, an organisation under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

Earlier in the day, Anurag Thakur, Minister for I&B, stated that he has received the awards report presented by the jury members. The panel includes Vipul Shah, Chair Feature Film Jury, Chitrartha Singh, Chair Non-Feature Jury,  Anant Vijay, Chair Best Writing of Cinema, Anant Vijay, Chair Best Writing of Cinema, and Priyadarshanand, Chair Most Film Friendly State.
