Karthi-starrer Viruman first look out

Viruman, directed by M Muthaiya, is billed as a rural-based mass entertainer set in Madurai

On the holy occasion of Pongal, the makers of Karthi's upcoming film Viruman have released the first look. The poster features a lungi-clad Karthi with a spear in his hand.

Viruman, directed by M Muthaiya, is billed as a rural-based mass entertainer set in Madurai. The film marks the director's second-time collaboration with Karthi after Komban.

Viruman has director Shankar's daughter Aditi making her acting debut. She is paired with Karthi in the film. Rajkiran, Prakash Raj, RK Suresh, Manoj, and Soori will be seen in other prominent roles.

On the technical front, cinematography is by Selvakumar SK, and music department is handled by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

Actor Suriya's 2D Entertainment is producing the film, shoot for which has already been wrapped up. The makers are planning it as a summer 2022 release.
