Rajinikanth thanks fans, celebs and well-wishers for heartfelt birthday wishes

Superstar Rajinikanth, who celebrated his 72nd birthday on Monday, was showered with wishes from fans, the film fraternity, politicians and sportspersons. 

Extending gratitude to all of them, the Superstar released a heart left statement.  He wrote, "To all my well wishers and friends who have wished me on my birthday from the Indian film fraternity, sports, business and all other fields of work... to all political leaders and friends from different states... to all the loving hearts from the public and society... to my dear fans all over the world and to the people of Tamil Nadu... My Heartfelt Thanks!!!"

He also mentioned prominent personalities like Kamal Haasan, Ilayaraaja, Vairamuthu, Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Mohanlal, Mammootty, Shivrajkumar, SarathKumar, Udhayanidhi Stalin, Dhanush and Sivakarthikeyan and thanked them for their hearty wishes. 

On the work front, he will be next seen in Jailer, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar.
