Teaser of Vikram-Ajay Gnanamuthu's Cobra to be out on this date

Cobra, Vikram's next with Ajay Gnanamuthu, is set to hit the screens on August 31. Banked by Seven Screen Studio, the film has music by AR Rahman, and Cobra marks the fourth collaboration between the actor and composer. 

The latest update from the team is that the much-awaited trailer of the big-budget action entertainer will be out on August 25. 

Apart from Vikram in the lead, Cobra also stars Srinidhi Shetty, Irfan Pathan, Miya George, Roshan Mathew, Sarjano Khalid, Padmapriya, Mohammad Ali Baig, Kaniha, Mirnalini Ravi, Meenakshi, and KS Ravikumar. The streaming rights have been bagged by Sony LIV while Red Giant Movies are distributing the film.

Meanwhile, Vikram is set to reunite with the Demonte Colony filmmaker once again after Cobra. In a recently conducted Twitter Spaces, Vikram shared that their next film will have a unique and compelling story. 

On the other hand, Vikram is also gearing up for the release of his historical epic drama, Ponniyin Selvan, directed by Mani Ratnam. The actor will be seen playing the legendary Tamil king from the Cholan dynasty: Aditya Karikalan.

Apart from these projects, Vikram will also be collaborating with Pa Ranjith for Chiyaan 61, which will be backed by Studio Green's Gnanavel Raja.
