Published: 23rd September 2021

After a long delay, Boney Kapoor finally confirmed the release date of Valimai on Twitter. While fans were expecting the film to release on Diwali, the producer revealed that the film is set to release on Pongal 2022. Now, the makers have released a sneak-peek into the film.

A bike stunt later, we see a black t-shirt clad Ajith Kumar walking in his trademark slo-mo through the fire, and we soon see glimpses of Kartikeya, who plays the primary antagonist.

We then see Ajith as Arjun zooming through the roads, and even jumping through a flaming building on a bike. Known for his bike stunts, we are clearly in for a thrilling ride this Pongal.

Here is the video:

Valimai has been in the making for a long time now.

Directed by H Vinoth, Valimai marks the second collaboration of the director with Ajith. The two worked together in Nerkonda Paarvai, the Tamil remake of Hindi hit Pink. The film turned out to be a profitable venture for Boney Kapoor, who produced that film as well.

Also starring Huma Quereshi, Pugazh, Yogi Babu, and Kartikeya, the film has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
