Silambarasan TR's Maanaadu FDFS cancelled due to KDM delay

Contrary to the announcement from the makers, the early morning shows of Silambarasan TR's Maanaadu have been cancelled due to Key Delivery Message (KDM) delay. The confusion over the release of the film began yesterday evening when the film's producer Suresh Kamatchi tweeted that the 'film won't be hitting the screen's on November 25, due to unavoidable cirucmstances'.

Later, the film's crew, including director Venkat Prabhu, SJ Suryah, Premgi Amaren and Kalyani Priyadarshan tweeted out that the issues have been sorted and the film will reach theatres as planned.

But the ardent fans of the star and the director have been major disappointed as they were made to wait for almost an hour in front of theatre gates before it was made clear to them that the early morning shows are cancelled all over.

There is no official clarification from the production side about the state of the rest of the shows.

Maanaadu was postponed multiple times earlier. The film was scheduled to release on Deepavali. However, it was then postponed to release on November 25.

Directed by Venkat Prabhu, Maanaadu is touted as a sci-fi thriller based on time-reversal and loop. Co-starring Bharathiraja and SA Chandrasekaran, the film has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and cinematography by Richard M Nathan.
