Dulquer Salmaan's Hey Sinamika to hit screens on this date; first look out

Dulquer Salmaan's upcoming film Hey Sinamika is slated for a release in theatres on February 25, 2022. The actor stars opposite Aditi Rao Hydari and Kajal Aggarwal in the film.

The makers announced the release date today along with Dulquer's first look from the film.

The film, which marks ace choreographer Brindha Gopal’s debut directorial venture, is bankrolled by Jio Studios. Interestingly, the romantic comedy also marks the studio’s first Tamil feature.

The film is said to follow a couple, played by Dulquer and Aditi, and how after five years into their marriage, the fiercely independent woman has had enough of her doting and fussy stay-at-home husband. Her strange and outrageous plans lead to hilarious consequences.

Hey Sinamika also features popular actors such as K Bhagyaraj, Kushbu Sundar, and Suhasini Mani Ratnam.

Notably, the title of the film is inspired by the Aye Sinamika track from Mani Ratnam’s OK Kanmani, which also starred Dulquer in the lead. Interestingly, Dulquer has also sung for a track in Hey Sinamika.

The movie is produced by Jio Studios, Global One Studios, and Viacom18 Studios.
