Director Shankar heaps praise on Simbu's Maanaadu

We had earlier reported that Rajinikanth called up team Maanaadu to praise them for the film's stupendous success. The latest celebrity to encourage the team is director Shankar. The Enthiran director praised all the departments of the film and said everyone was at their best. 

Shankar tweeted, "Maanaadu is brilliantly written and directed by Venkat Prabhu. Silambarasan and SJ Suryah are marvelous! Yuvan Shankar Raja music was Elevating! All the actors and technicians are at their best! The time loop drama worked out fantastically. An entertaining and new experience for Tamil Cinema."

Maanaadu, directed by Venkat Prabhu, has turned out to be a new watershed moment for Simbu. The film has opened to a good response from the audience and the critics as well. 

The time loop thriller has worked majorly for the performances and the gripping screenplay. Yuvan Shankar Raja's original score for the film complimented the film's performance. 

The film also stars Kalyani Priyadarshan, Premgi, Karunakaran, YG Mahendra, and Vagai Chandrasekar.
