Franklin Jacob, whose debut project Writer, opened to positive reviews last Friday, has bagged his second project. The filmmaker has signed a film for Lalit Kumar's 7 Screen Studio, the production house best-known for co-producing Master.
Filmmaker Pa Ranjith, who produced Writer through his Neelam Productions, announced the development on Twitter yesterday. "After the overwhelming appreciation and applauds for Writer, from both critics and audiences, 7 Screen Studio has signed Frank Jacob for his second feature film! Congratulations and best wishes to Lalit sir and Franklin!"
Considering its nascency, little is known about the project at the moment.
Franklin's Writer starred Samuthirakani, Dileepan, Ineya, Subramaniam Siva, GM Sundar.
Meanwhile, Lalit Kumar's upcoming projects include Mahaan and Cobra, both headlined by Vikram.
