Actor S Ve Shekher, who has acted in several films with Delhi Ganesh including Mr Bharath, Arasatchi, Vedikkai En Vadikkai, and Oorukku Upadesam, among others condoled the demise of the veteran actor and said that his death is a great loss for the film fraternity.
"What we have is almost 50 years of friendship. When he came to Chennai, he played a character in Kathadi Ramamurthy's play 'Dowry Kalyana Vaibhogame' for which he would receive a thunderous applause. From Pattina Pravesam, Pasi, he started honing his craft as a character artiste," he explains.
Praising his versatility as an actor he shares, "Delhi Ganesh was also a successful dubbing artist who worked in Visu's Kudumbam oru Kadambam. He's not just a versatile actor, but also a sincere and a disciplined artiste who has a great sense of humour. He was in everyone's good books. He is a good writer also. His death is a great loss for everyone." He also adds, "I believe that no artiste dies, everyone including Sivaji and MGR are living with us. With this digital era, Delhi Ganesh will continue to live with us."
