Indoo Ki Jawani producer Ryan Stephen passes away 

Bollywood producer Ryan Stephen has passed away. Ryan was an associate of Dharma Productions and the co-founder of Electric Apples Entertainment. He had produced the 2020 comedy Indoo Ki Jawani and the short film Devi.

Though the cause of his death is not known, early reports claim he had contracted COVID-19.

Several Bollywood personalities paid tribute to Ryan.

“It’s so so shocking for all of us who knew this gentle soul. It really can’t be true!! I will miss you my friend RYAN,” Manoj Bajpayee tweeted.

Indoo Ki Jawani star Kiara Advani wrote, “Our dearest Ryan gone too soon."

Farhan Akhtar tweeted, “Saddened and shocked to hear about the passing of #RyanStephen. Gone too soon .. condolences to his family. RIP”

Director Suparn Verma remembered his dear friend. He wrote, “Life is cruel! But you were kind! @ryanmstephen thank you for your compassion in a ruthless world. I’m glad we undertook a journey on a few stories, the joy in writing them was because of you. You leave behind so many who loved you. Cook up a storm my friend. God bless you.”

Dia Mirza responded to his tweet with, “Heartbroken. One of the nicest human beings i’ve ever known.”

Varun Dhawan shared a picture of Stephen on Instagram. He captioned it, “RIP Ryan."

Ryan had previously worked as an entertainment journalist, consultant and publicist.
