Hollywood action choreographers Larnell Stovall and Vlad Rimburg have been signed on to choreograph the stunt sequences in Varun Tej's upcoming boxing drama Ghani. The stunt director duo, who earlier worked in films like Titans and Salman Khan-starrer Sulthan, will join the team soon after the Covid-19 situation begins to ease out.

"A huge stadium set has been erected to shoot crucial sequences of the film in the upcoming schedule. Both Larnell and Vlad will join the sets in this schedule that will begin soon after the lockdown restrictions were relaxed in the city," says Sidhu Mudda, the producer of the film, adding, "About 70 percent of the film has already been completed and with this, entire shooting would be wrapped up."

Varun Tej is undergoing a stark physical transformation to get into the skin of a boxer and he has already completed training with 2008 Summer Olympic bronze medalist Tony Jeffries in Los Angeles. "Varun Tej has been training in boxing even during the lockdown so that he will be ready for the next schedule."

Directed by Kiran Korrapati, Ghani marks the debut of Dabangg 3-actor Saiee Manjrekar in Tollywood. The film also stars Upendra, Suniel Shetty, and Naveen Chandra in supporting roles.

The music of Ghani is by SS Thaman and the makers are planning to release the film on July 30.
