The first look of Rao Ramesh as Gooni Babji from his upcoming film Maha Samudram was released by the makers on the occasion of his birthday today. In the poster, Ramesh can be seen in a hunchback avatar as he intensely stares into the camera.

While sharing the film's poster on Twitter, director Ajay Bhupathi, who earlier directed RX 100, wished Ramesh and gave us an idea about his character Gooni Babji, a  versatile villain. "Wishing the Incredibly Versatile Actor Rao Ramesh garu a very happy birthday! Introducing him as Gooni Babji from our Maha Samudram," wrote Ajay.

Billed to be an intense love and action drama, Maha Samudram stars Sharwanand, Siddharth, Aditi Rao Hydari, Anu Emmanuel, and Jagapathi Babu in the lead roles. The makers have confirmed that 50 percent of the film has been successfully completed and they will commence the next schedule after the pandemic situation eases out.

Besides Maha Samudram, Rao Ramesh is also playing a crucial role in Yash-starrer KGF: Chapter 2. Maha Samudram is expected to hit screens in both Telugu and Tamil on August 19.
