Sivakarthikeyan's Doctor, directed by Nelson, is one of the most anticipated Tamil films of the year. It has now been revealed that the film has got a U/A certification from the censor board on April 23.

Sivakarthikeyan's previous outings have always been family and kids friendly with U certification, and this is the first time a film of the actor's has got an 'Unrestricted exhibition, but with parental guidance' certificate.

The runtime of Doctor is said to be 2 hours 28 minutes. Starring Priyanka Mohan as the female lead, the film also has Vinay and Yogi Babu playing important roles, and is said to revolve around organ mafia.

There is no word yet on the film's release. Producer Rajesh of KJR Studios tweeted yesterday that he does not want to talk about something celebratory like a film's release during the current critical situation caused by COVID-19. He also asked the fans of the star to be patient.

Meanwhile, Sivakarthikeyan also has Ayalaan in the pipeline. Nelson, on the other hand, had begun shooting for his next with Vijay, tentatively referred to as Thalapathy 65, before the lockdown.
