Avatar Purusha’s first single will pay tribute to IPL

Avatar Purusha, starring Sharan, is all set for release on May 28, and a new single from the film will be unveiled on April 9. What's interesting about the upcoming track is that it celebrates the Indian Premier League and will premiere on the same day as the opening match of the T20 series.

Chuttu Chuttu actors Sharan and Ashika Ranganath are teaming up for the second time for this film. Directed by Suni, Avatar Purusha is being made in two parts. The first part has the tagline 'Ashta Digbandana Madalaka' while the second one's tagline reads, 'Trishanku'.  The former will be a humorous film. On the other hand, the latter takes on the serious subject of sandalwood smuggling.

Written by Suni and Sheelam Kiran, the film has music by Arjun Janya. The stunts are performed by National Award-winning stunt choreographer, Master Vikram Mor. The film's cinematography is handled by William David.

Avatar Purusha will be the first release for many members of the cast and crew including Sharan and Ashika. While Sharan is currently shooting for his other film, Guru Shishyaru, Ashika has completed shooting for Raymo and has now moved on to the sets of MadaGaja. Suni, meanwhile, is working on his next project Sakath, which stars Ganesh.
