Parineeti Chopra: Thrilled to work with Anil Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor in Animal

Billed as a dark thriller, Animal is director Sandeep's second Bollywood film after 2019's Kabir Singh

Actor Parineeti Chopra, who is all set to star in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's next film, Animal, has said that she is thrilled to feature in the film, as it has given her the opportunity to work alongside the likes of Anil Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor.

Billed as a dark thriller, Animal is director Sandeep's second Bollywood film after 2019's Kabir Singh.

Parineeti told PTI that though she can't talk about the film or her role in detail as yet, she is looking forward to sharing the screen with the duo for the first time. "I don't sit and desperately plan that I want to work with this director or that actor. I have never done that in my career. So for me, the opportunity to be a part of Animal means a lot. It is a huge honour to be a part of a film with Anil Kapoor sir and Ranbir. These are actors I've enjoyed watching and respect immensely in a personal capacity. For me, working in Animal will be months of learning," she said.

Produced by Bhushan Kumar's T-Series, Pranay Reddy Vanga, Murad Khetani, and Krishan Kumar, Animal also stars Bobby Deol.

Parineeti, who is scheduled to start filming for Animal later this year, has had three back-to-back releases this year — The Girl on the Train on Netflix, Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar, and last week's sports biopic Saina.

Animal is currently slated to hit theatres on Dussehra 2022.
