The release of Bunty Aur Babli 2 has been postponed due to the fresh spike in Covid-19 cases. Directed by debutant Varun Sharma, the upcoming sequel stars Rani Mukerji and Saif Ali Khan with Siddhanth Chaturvedi and Sharvari. The film was slated to release on April 23 but has been pushed for now.

"Due to the spike in #Covid19 cases and the impact on the entertainment industry in #India, #YRF has taken the call to push the release of #BuntyAurBabli2 ahead," Taran Adarsh tweeted.

Bunty Aur Babli 2 was wrapped up in September last year. Yash Raj Films recently released Dibakar Banerjee’s Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar in theatres.
