We had previously reported that Gautham Karthik has signed a film titled Anandham Vilayadum Veedu, co-starring Cheran and a host of other actors. This film, directed by Oru Kalluriyin Kathai-fame Nandha Periyasamy, recently went on floors with a ceremony at Ponmalai Thirupathi Temple in Krishnagiri.

A song choreographed by Dinesh Master, featuring Gautham and the film's female lead, Shivathmika Rajashekar, was shot as well.

Speaking about the film, producer P Ranganathan of Sri Vaari Films says, "Having been a part of the industry for years, I've found that the success rate of family entertainers is always higher when compared with other genres. Thanks to Nanda Periyasamy, I happened to hear a perfect story that contains family sentiments, humour, action, romance, and engaging subplots.”

The cast of Anandham Vilayadum Veedu includes Saravanan, Daniel Balaji, Singam Puli, Snehan, Namo Narayanan, Soundarajan and Mounika.

Siddhu Kumar and Borra Bharani are in charge of the music and cinematography, respectively.
