Malavika Mohanan: Vijay called Tiger Shroff 'Thalaivaa'

In a Twitter Spaces interaction organised by the celebrity management comany The Route to mark the birthday of Vijay, several former co-stars and directors of the actor shared their fond memories with him. Malavika Mohanan, who acted with Vijay in Master shared that he has a 'crazy, fun side' which is only known to his close circle.

She recounted that an incident where Vijay cheered for Tiger Shroff in Baaghi 3. "We had gone to watch the film together as a crew. During the intro scene of Tiger, Vijay got visibly excited and cheered for him shouting,'Thalaivaa!' Not many people get to see this fun side of him. He later mentioned to her that he likes the young actor." 

It may be noted that veteran actor and Tiger's father Jackie Shroff played the prime antagonist in Vijay's 2019 film Bigil. 

Apart from Malavika Mohanan, actor Keerthy Suresh, composer Anirudh and directors Nelson, who is helming Vijay in the upcoming Beast and Lokesh Kanagaraj were part of the online interaction.
