Venu Arvind is in ICU but not in a coma: Radikaa Sarathkumar

Popular TV actor Venu Arvind underwent brain surgery in a private hospital in Chennai. The actor is currently in ICU. However, many reports claimed that the actor had gone into a coma after the surgery and is in a critical condition. Radikaa Sarathkumar, who has collaborated with Venu Arvind in a popular TV serial Vani Rani, has squashed such rumours in a tweet. 

Radikaa wrote, "It’s very sad that the media falsely say that Venu Arvind is in a coma. Have been closely following his health with his wife. He was not well, now he is stabilised, a wonderful person, please pray he comes home soon sound and healthy. Stop wrong news."

Another TV actor Arunrajan, a co-star of Venu Arvind in Vani Rani, in an Instagram video said, "Venu sir is not in a coma. I spoke to his wife just now. He has been going through health issues for the past seven to eight months and went through surgery. He is currently in ICU but not in a come. He is responding well to the treatment and all of us are positive about his recovery. He will soon return come. Please don't spread negativity."

Venu Arvind is popular among all the Tamil households as he has been part of many hit serials like Alaigal, Arasi, Vani Rani, and Kadhal Pagadai. He is one of the first TV actors to win the Tamil Nadu State Award Kalaimamani in 2007. Venu has also been part of many notable films like Vallavan, Narasimha, and Alaipayuthey.
