Joel Courtney, Crystal Reed to headline Pinball: The Man Who Saved the Game

Actors Joel Courtney and Crystal Reed have been roped in to star in the dramatic comedy film,  Pinball: The Man Who Saved the Game.

Written and directed by Austin and Meredith Bragg, the film is based on the true story of writer and pinball wizard Roger Sharpe, chronicling his journey to overturn New York City’s 35-year ban on pinball.

Produced by MPI Original Films, the project is set to go on floors in October. The film is produced by Stacey Parks, Lana Link, and Rob Pfaltzgraff, with Nick Reid and Roger Sharpe on board as executive producers.

Courtney is currently shooting the Netflix film Players. He’ll also soon be seen in the last film of Netflix’s The Kissing Booth trilogy. His other film and TV credits include Super 8, Tom Sawyer & Huckleberry Finn, The Between, Mercy, Dear Eleanor, Sins of Our Youth, CW’s The Messengers, The Empty Man and the 2019 indie film, Pursued.

Reed is best known for playing Allison Argent in the Teen Wolf series. The actor recently played the lead role of Abby in Swamp Thing. She also played Sofia Falcone in Season 4 of Gotham. Her other credits include Too Late, Crush, Jewtopia, Skyline, Incident in a Ghost Land and Crazy Stupid Love.
