It is a known fact that Rajinikanth has fans all over the world and especially in Japan. Recently, Rajinikanth's last film Darbar was re-released in the country and has met with a good response from the audience. The film has been running to a packed house for the past few days. Now, new additional shows are being planned, according to reports.

Though the film was met with mixed response in India, looks like Darbar has hit the right chord with Rajinikanth fans in Japan. There is a huge demand for the tickers in the country currently, and industry trackers predict the trend will last for a while.

Darbar, directed by AR Murugadoss, features Rajinikanth as a cop after almost two decades. He plays the role of Aaditya Arunachalam IPS, a ruthless cop fighting crimes in Mumbai. With music by Anirudh Ravichander, the film also features Nivetha Thomas, Yogi Babu, Sunil Shetty, and Nayanthara in lead roles.
