Mahesh Babu's much-awaited Sarkaru Vaari Paata becomes the first major film to slot its release for Sankranthi 2022. While the exact release date is not officially announced yet, the makers have decided to release the movie as a festival special.

The news was shared by the actor on Twitter. "Sankranthi it is!! #SarkaruVaariPaata," he tweeted and shared a new poster of him holding a bunch of keys.

Directed by Parasuram (Bujji) Petla, the action drama has Mahesh sporting a new avatar with long hair. The first schedule of the film commenced earlier this week in Dubai. The team has been filming combination scenes of Mahesh and Keerthy Suresh, the leading lady of the film.

Produced by 14 Reels Plus in association with Mythri Movie Makers and GMB Entertainments, Sarkaru Vaari Paata is about capturing the most-wanted fugitive businessmen who were accused in separate cases of financial crimes.
