Unlike in 2020, Pooja Hegde has three films set for release this year. She has two Telugu films — Most Eligible Bachelor and Radhe Shyam — and a Hindi film, Cirkus in the pipeline.
Ever since production activities resumed after the lockdown, the Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo actor has been juggling work on these films, while also listening to new scripts. According to reports, Koratala Siva, the director of Acharya, has finalised Pooja for an important role alongside Ram Charan in the film.
While she is expected to join the next schedule of the Chiranjeevi-starred on February 7 in Maredumilli, Pooja is stuck with some call sheet issues. "Pooja's call sheets for around the same period were already allocated for Ranveer Singh-starrer Cirkus. Attempts to adjust her dates turned futile as Rohit Shetty, the director of Cirkus, was in no mood to budge The matter is now being taken care by Charan, who is co-producing Acharya. He is contemplating speaking to Ranveer to avoid any further delay in the production of Acharya. A clear picture will emerge by this weekend," says a source close to the development.
Meanwhile, the unit is expected to jet off to Rajahmundry in the first week of February to wrap up the flashback sequences of the film.
