It’s official - Naseeruddin Shah and Tusshar Kapoor to star in Maarrich

Naseeruddin Shah and Tusshar Kapoor will star in Maarrich, an upcoming whodunnit thriller produced by Tusshar. The film will feature Naseeruddin Shah as a Catholic priest and Tusshar as a police officer.
Sharing the first look of Maarrich, Tusshar tweeted:
Almost 20 yrs down this wonderful journey of making stories come to life, beginning 2021 with #Maarrich..a departure from my usual style,a film that challenges me to evolve as an actor! Maarrich will also feature actor Seerat Kapoor. The film's title draws from a character in the Ramayana. Maarrich, an aide of Raavana, had assisted the ruler of Lanka to kidnap Sita, tempting her by posing as a golden deer.
Tusshar had recently co-produced the horror-comedy Laxmmi.
