‘Chak De India’: Bollywood reacts to India’s win against Australia

Bollywood has erupted in joy after India’s triumph against Australia in the Border Gavaskar Trophy. India won by three wickets on Tuesday in Brisbane and clinched the series 2-1. The victory ended Australia’s unbeaten streak at the Gabba since 1988.

Reacting to the historic win, Shah Rukh Khan tweeted,

What an absolutely marvellous victory for our team!!! Stayed up all night to watch it unfold ball by ball. Now will sleep peacefully for a bit and savour this historic moment. Love to all our boys and greatly admire their resilience to power us through to this win. Chak De India!
