Siddhant Chaturvedi and Malavika Mohanan are set to star in Mom-director Ravi Udyawar's upcoming film, Yudhra. Backed by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani's Excel Entertainment, the romantic action-thriller is slated for a Summer 2022 release.

Siddhant, the breakout star of Gully Boy, took to Instagram and shared an action-packed teaser, along with posters of the film.

Yudhra marks Malavika's second Hindi project, after the 2017 Majid Majidi-directorial Beyond the Clouds. "Have waited so long to share this news with you guys. Presenting to you Yudhra, releasing summer 2022," Malavika wrote on Instagram.

With a story and screenplay written by Farhan Akhtar and Shridhar Raghavan, Yudhra is co-produced by Kassim Jagmagia. Akshat Ghildial will share dialogue credits with Farhan.

Meanwhile, Siddhant will also be seen in Bunty Aur Babli sequel and the untitled Shakun Batra film, co-starring Deepika Padukone and Ananya Panday. Malavika, who recently starred in the Tamil blockbuster, Master, is also part of Dhanush's next, tentatively called D43.
