The much-awaited first look of Ajith Kumar's Valimai is on its way. Directed by H Vinoth, Valimai is produced by Boney Kapoor's BayView Projects LLP.

After Ajith's last release, Nerkonda Paarvai in 2019 (also directed by H Vinoth and produced by Boney Kapoor), the expectation for the upcoming Valimai has been sky-high. However, even after the COVID-19 lockdown, eager fans were left without any update regarding the project.

Today, producer Boney Kapoor took to Twitter and thanked the fans for all the love that the film has been receiving, and mentioned that the first look of the film will be out soon.

However, there is no official word on the exact date and time of the first look release.

Earlier last week, the music composer of the film, Yuvan Shankar Raja, took to his new website u1records.com to state that the first song from Valimai has been completed. Said to be a folk number, which will be Ajith's introduction song, the track will feature festival drummers from Odisha. Director Vignesh Shivan, who had previously penned the track Adharu Adharu in Ajith's Yennai Arindhaal, is penning this song too.
