BREAKING: Gautham Menon to play the villain in Draupathi director Mohan's next

Director Mohan, who shot to the limelight with last year's Draupathi, is reuniting with that film's lead Richard for a film titled Rudra Thandavam. It's now known that director Gautham Vasudev Menon has been roped in for an important role in Rudra Thandavam.

The first look of the film was released earlier today. It features Richard along with the female lead, Dharsha Gupta. Dharsha had gained prominence after her participation in the popular cooking reality show, Cook With Comali.

The poster of Rudra Thandavam carries the tagline, 'Not Just a Love Story'. A second update from the makers of the film confirmed that Gautham will be playing the film's antagonist.

A source close to the film says that the first schedule has been wrapped up recently, and the second and final schedule is about to commence soon. Gautham Menon will be joining the sets for this second schedule. Shot completely in North Madras, the film will feature Richard as a cop for the first time.

Rudra Thandavam will feature music by Draupathi composer Jubin and cinematography by Farooq J. Produced by GM Film Corporation in association with 7G Films, the film is scheduled to hit the screens this summer.
