Pogaru to hit more than 1000 screens on February 19

The film, starring Dhruva Sarja and directed by Nanda Kishore, will see a mega audio launch on February 14. It will see a simultaneous release in Kannada, Tamil and Telugu

Pogaru, starring Dhruva Sarja, will be the first big-star release of 2021. The film is seeing a simultaneous release in Kannada, Telugu, and Tamil. It is said to be hitting over 1,000 screens across three states and other regions on February 19. “It will be released in around 350 theatres in Karnataka alone,” confirms BK Gangadhar, the the producer of the film.

Before the release, the team is holding a grand audio launch in Davangere on February14. According to the director, this is the first large-scale event in the industry amidst the pandemic. At this event, the Pogaru team is planning to release three songs from the film album, which will include the popular Karaabu track. The film has music by Chandan Shetty and background score by V Harikrishna.

Pogaru, touted to be an action family drama, has Rashmika Mandanna paired opposite Dhruva Sarja. It also features an ensemble cast including Raghavendra Rajkumar, Dhananjay, Pavithra Lokesh, Mayuri, Ravi Shankar, and Chikkanna. The film also stars international bodybuilders Kai Greene, Morgan Aste, Johan Lucas, and Jo Linder in the climax sequence. The cinematography is handled by well-known DoP Vijay Milton.
