Suriya's Jai Bhim to release on Amazon Prime Video, 3 other 2D projects in the lineup
A new film will be released each month on the streaming platform
Suirya's production house 2D Entertainment has joined hands with media streaming platform Amazon Prime Video to digitally release their upcoming slot of films: Jai Bhim, Udanpirappe, Oh My Dog and Raame Aandalum Raavane Aandalum.
The announcement was made by the actor through a series of tweets. "Dear all! Four beautiful stories will be told every month, starting September! Need all your wishes and support! Stay safe!!" he wrote.
The first film to have its premiere on Amazon Prime Video is Raame Aaandalum Raavane Aandalum, starring Ramya Pandian, Vani Bhojan. The satirical drama directed by Arisil Moorthy revolves around the missing bulls of an innocent farmer.
Udanpirappe directed by Era Saravanan stars Jyotika, Sasikumar, Samuthirakani and Kalaiyarasan. The film release in October. The story revolves around the love and separation of siblings.
Suriya's 39th film Jai Bhim, helmed by Tha Se Gnanavel is a courtroom drama featuring the actor as an advocate who fights for tribal men who become victims of the system. Jai Bhim will release online in November.
Oh My Dog, the acting debut of Arnav Vijay, the son of Arun Vijay and grandson of Vijay Kumar. The film is about a dog and a kid, who find solace in each other. The film also stars Arun Vijay and Vijay Kumar. This film will be premiering the last in December.
