The makers of the upcoming pan-Indian film Pushpa have announced the release date of the film's first today, on the occasion of music composer Devi Sri Prasad's birthday.

The single has been titled Daakko Daakko Meka, Odu Odu Aadu, Odu Odu Aade, Jokke Jokke Meke, and Jaago Jaago Bakre in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi, respectively, with Shivam, Benny, Rahul Nambiar, Vijay Prakash, and Vishal Dadlani crooning the song in the respective languages.

The song will be released on August 13, the date the film was initially scheduled to release on before being postponed due to the Covid-19 related restrictions. The makers are yet to announce the revised release date.

Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa marks the third collaboration between the actor and filmmaker after the 2004-film Arya and its quasi-sequel in 2009. Pushpa stars Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead, while Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil is playing the antagonist.
