Shivarajkumar’s next to be an emotional romantic drama

The film marks the directorial debut of Ram Dhulipudi

Shivarajkumar is currently in the last phase of shooting for his film with director Vijay Milton. Meanwhile, the makers of Century Star’s 124th film are gearing up to begin shooting from mid-June depending on the pandemic situation. The project marks the directorial debut of Ram Dhulipudi, and the debutant has come up with an emotional love story for Shivanna. Doubling up as a family drama, the film is expected to feature Shivanna as a military officer and will be different from his previous lineup of films.

The makers have roped in actors like Nassar, Sampath and Sadhu Kokila to play pivotal roles. Singer-actor Manglik, who recently delivered the hit number, Kannu Adhirindhi from Roberrt, is also part of the cast. According to the production house, a big heroine is in talks to play the lead opposite Shivanna.

The yet-to-be-titled project will have music scored by Charan Raj. The composer, who gave a chartbuster album like Tagaru will be associating with Shivarajkumar for the second time. The makers have also finalised DOP Ravikumar Sana, stunt master Ravi Varma, art director Ravi Santhehaiklu and editor Deepu S Kumar as part of the team.

Bankrolled by Balsreeram Studios, the film is jointly produced by Swathi Vanappali, Skikanth Dhulipudi, Narala Srinivas Reddy. Kudipudi Vijayakumar is onboard as the executive producer.

The makers have also finalised the locations, and major portions of the project will be shot in Bengaluru and Chikmagalur, and in some unexplored locations of Jammu and Kashmir. The team also has plans to shoot in the US as well.

Meanwhile, Shivarajkumar has A Harsha’s Vedha, his 125th film, and Nanda Kishore’s commercial entertainer in the pipeline.
