Rajinikanth is among the many Tamil film celebrities to respond to the passing of actor and comedian Vivekh earlier today. The actor took to Twitter to share his condolences with the late comedian's dear ones.

Expressing his grief, Rajinikanth wrote, "The death of chinna Kalaivaanar, social activist, my dear friend Vivekh is devastating. I can't forget the days I worked with him in Sivaji. I extend my condolences to his family and everyone who is suffering from the loss. Let his soul rest in peace."

Vivekh, who appeared in minor roles in Rajinikanth's Uzhaippali and Veera, acted alongside the actor in a substantial role in Sivaji, for which he also received the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Comedian.
