"Sarath was impressed with Rajisha's clinical and inquisitive approach to acting. She liked both the character and the story of the film and has verbally agreed to be on board as the leading lady opposite Ravi Teja. However, she is yet to sign the dotted line and the modalities will be worked out soon after the Covid-19 situation eases out," says a source close to the development.
Touted to be a thriller, the film is based on a true incident and it will go on floors in the second half of this year. "The film was supposed to start in May, but the plans have been called off due to a spike in coronavirus cases. The team is now waiting for the Covid-19 cases to drop and life to get back to normal after lockdown," the source adds.
Produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under SLV Cinemas LLP, the film has music by Sam CS.
