We had previously reported that Dhanush will be collaborating with Mithran Jawahar, whom the actor had previously worked with on Yaaradi Nee Mohini, Kutty, and Uthamaputhiran. It's now speculated that Anirudh has been roped in to compose the music for this project.

Anirudh, who made his debut with Dhanush's 3, went on to collaborate with the actor in various films like Velaiyilla Pattathari, Maari and Thanga Magan. He has also worked on Dhanush's production ventures such as Ethir Neechal and Naanum Rowdy Dhaan.

A source close to the unit says that the makers of the upcoming film are keen to bring back the combination of Dhanush and Anirudh as the duo has not teamed up for five years now.

The yet-to-be-titled film is produced by Sun Pictures. The rest of the cast and crew details are expected to be announced soon.

Meanwhile, Dhanush is awaiting the release of Karthik Subbaraj's Jagame Thanthiram, while Anirudh's Master, starring Vijay, is expected to be out for Pongal 2021.
